Brody and Caroline get to go to Church with Mik Mik and Papa G
I really like this picture. This was after church Sunday at Amber and Bryan's. Mikki and I took Brody and Caroline to church Sunday while Amber was at home helping Bryan after his accident. Boy, did we ever have fun. You should have witnessed us with them during church. They were really well behaved, but they never stop moving. Not for a second! It was quite funny actually. I wore John Wolfe out sitting behind me. I actually heard him laughing at me a couple times. I was wiped out at the end of the day. Felt like I'd been ironing in high heel shoes all day:-) They are really a lot of fun.

Bryan almost got his clock cleaned....
I'll have to say that this photo doesn't do the situation justice. The back of this car is all pushed up unto the back of the drivers seat, and almost every window was blown on from the concussion. Bryan was sitting on I-45 running radar at about 1:30 am Sunday morning when a young man in a Ford Escape veered from his lane and hit Bryan's patrol car. Bryan said he never knew what hit him. It knocked Bryan around and down the shoulder out into the on-ramp of the freeway ahead. The impact catapulted the Escape into a roll-over and onto his roof and into the lanes of the freeway. Amazingly, neither one of these guys were seriously harmed, but it was a very close call. Bryan is a bit banged up and bruised, but he'll live to write another citation. The other boy had an arm abrasion and will live to see a judge so he can pay his.
God is good. So in 12 short months, Bryan has been thrown from a horse and chipped a vertibrae and gotten run over on the side of the road doing his job. Our family is blessed that the twins still have their daddy and that he'll recover and get back to work shortly.
