Mikki, Molly and I took off during Spring Break for West Texas, a place I don't remember traveling but I'm sure Daddy drug us through there at 70mph+ at some time of our young lives. We drove from the Farm to Marathon, then to Marfa, then on to Cibolo Creek Ranch near the Mexican Border and in the mountains. Quite beautiful high desert country. A part of Texas that is a must see if you have a lot of time on your hands. 10 hours from Go Away! We enjoyed it. Marfa and Marathon have both become art havens for the weird. The Gage Hotel in Marathon is neat and the shopping quick and painless since it is all in a four store, one block area. Go see it.
