Flying into Lubbock

Flying on commuter jets is a far cry from flying the old prop planes, but there are times when you question your sanity... could this trip to a client be worth the risks I'm taking... Yesterday three of us went to Lubbock for a meeting and as we were landing, the pilot obviously didn't want to divert to another airport or stall while the thunderstorm and wind abated, so he landed. We were safe and sound because we were landing parallel to this thing, but it was a few moments of eeriness that made you question whether you had made a really bad decision:-)  I'd rather take off in bad weather than land in it. 

But, with that said, it was a beauty getting to fly next to it, although a bit bumpy.
